"Just like to say a big thanks to you for organising a fantastic event. Did the 100mile ride and it was superb, will definitely do it again, a real West Country treat."
Just one of many e-mails thanking us for a great event.
We are delighted that so many of you decided to brave what was pretty dodgy weather in the morning and decided to ride. Fortunately by the time most people finished the sun had come out and we actually had quite a nice day.
Apart from a few mechanicals, one or two injuries, and some idiot removing a couple of signs, the day passed off without incident and judging from the feedback we have received, everyone seemed to enjoy it immensely.
Our thanks also go out to all of our friends who provided fantastic assistance at the Event HQ, at feed stations, marshalling and especially to Anders and Dave who were our mobile mechanics. Anders even lent his own bike to one rider who's bike was beyond immediate repair! Make sure you pay him a visit - Chaos Cycles in St. Nicholas Market, Bristol. Also, Box at Bad Ass Bikes repaired a broken derailleur for someone at the second feed station.
The free Black Rat Cider and souvenir tankard went down well and one of my best memories of the day is seeing about 100 tired riders sat on the grass in the sun outside of the signing on room drinking Black Rat and smiling!
Anyway, I'm sure most of you want to see the results and although I will put them on this web site later, you can view them now by visiting Tri & Enter's web site. Please note that if you rode the 100 mile ride but did not stop at the second feed station to cross the timing mat, you will not be given an intermediate time. Earlier problems with time results appear to have been rectified.
