I would like to thank everyone involved in the organising of the event today... it was GREAT FUN!!! very well organised and it was a real pleasure to take part today..THANK YOU!!!
Just like to say a big thanks thanks to you for organising a fantastic event. Did the 100mile ride and it was superb, will definitely do it again, a real West Country treat.
Thanks for the ride today - great organising, you were obviously well prepared - out on the road were good clear signs, we had no trouble route finding. Good to get a sportive close to home for those of us from North Somerset and Bristol, Backwell school was ideal for a base.
Only had one puncture between 3 of us, nice to get that out of the way early (after 1km out of 100!)
The refreshments were tasty, most of all the cakes and drinks at Lillypool. And the glass / cider were a nice touch at the end, please say thanks to Moles brewery. Sorry we couldn't stay for second and third helpings!
I can't make the Devon event but hope it goes well for you.
My first sportive and despite the rain very enjoyable . A great route with some testing climbs and very friendly staff. I hope you do more of these around bristol
First of all I just wanted to say a big thanks for yesterday. My first sportive and really enjoyed it, will definitely be back for more
Thanks for great event yesterday. I'm very tired today!
Thanks for a fab event yesterday!
Really enjoyed the ride, good food (but was looking forward to malt loaf!) and I loved the route
I enjoyed the ride, in a masochistic sort of way! This was my first sportive and I was impressed with the organisation.
Great event guys, thanks very much.
A good ride yesterday - thanks for all your work - and thanks to your colleagues too! The hills were pretty demanding and strung everyone out quite a bit, so my hopes of hanging on to a group didn't materialise and I seemed to ride most of the route by myself. It was lovely when the skies cleared - at about Clevedon for me!
Hi, I just wanted to thank you all for providing a very well organised event. This was my first ever "Sportive" (the last time I rode 60 miles was in 1983 and I was 20!) and so it was quite a big deal for me to enter and complete the 100k event. The route was well thought through, the start and finish arrangements worked well and it was very well sign posted. Thanks again - you've obviously all worked very hard at this and you should feel very pleased with yourselves. I'll see if I can make the Devon event in September - if not, the Black Rat May 2011?
Thanks for organising a great event. Both John Hughes and myself enjoyed it immensely.
Thanks for a great day! Even the wet start didnt really matter!! All signposts etc were good, and plenty of info beforehand. Nice cheerful people at the food n water stops too!
First class event. Signs excellent, friendly atmosphere, brilliant food at the feed stations and enthusiastic helpers...great day...who cares about the weather! Highlight for me was leading a line down Burrington :-)
That's great. Will be back next year...
Excellent event shame about the weather. I would like to claim that time for 100miles but I whimped out and did the 100k instead.
Many thanks for a very enjoyable event - despite the earlier rain.
Thanks very much Hopefully see you at the North Devon sportive, I'd better get the hill training in.
Great day out even in the dodgy weather. No probs with the signage. Great feed stations. Will do again next year. Hopefully will do one of the Sept rides. Big thanx to all involved in the organisation.
Cheers guys!!
I really enjoyed the ride and will look forward to it next year.
Hi, just a few words to thank all who organised and helped on what I thought was an excellent day out on Sunday-please arrange for better weather at the start next time though!
Just wanted to say a big thanks for all your help with our late entries. We thoroughly enjoyed the day (even with 2 punctures!) Thought the route was excellent and really well organised and we loved the cider and tankard at the finish.
Fantastic day even in the rain!!!
It was good to see the cyclists going through Dundry over the weekend and more importantly, because there has been problems before, not necessarily from your organisation, all the "this way" signs were removed soon after.
Dundry Parish Council thank you for being so tidy.
