Marlwood School is ideally situated in a quiet, rural area with instant access to the route that all riders will take to reach Oldbury on Severn.
After leaving the school, you will join the B4661 which takes you to Elburton, just 3km down the hill. Here you will follow quiet country lanes through Oldbury on Severn and on to Berkeley. The roads here are fairly flat which gives you a chance to warm your legs up before some tough climbs later.
After Berkeley you will cross the A38 and ride to Dursley where the first stiff climb of the day awaits you. The climb to Nympsfield isn’t too long but has some steep sections to get your heart rate up.
